My first ever graphic design job was for Livinghouse in my hometown of Salisbury in 2006. I worked there for 3 years as the first and only graphic designer, and the scope of my responibility there was huge considering it was my first job. I got to develop their brand identity, redesign their website and a 240 page product brochure from scratch. I learnt code so that I could send out branded marketing emails and art directed shoots that we did in the showroom.
Knitster Ldn are a knitwear design consultancy and sampling studio in East London. Established in 2017, they needed a visual identity, website and social media strategy that would express their energy, passion and technical expertise for knitwear.

My bosses had a can-do attitude that I learnt a lot from and gave me the freedom and trust to try things out and make mistakes. I feel really lucky to have had this experience and while I can see many improvements that could be made to my work, I'm still quite proud of what I created for them. It was my rite of passage to becoming a professional designer.
I also redesigned their website in 2012.
