Modern Commodities are a creative production agency based in London. The scope of their experience is wide and they offer services in a modular format meaning they can intuitively adapt to meet the individual needs of each client. They needed me to help refine their brand identity and translate it into a website that would express the ambiguity of their offering in a way that was clear and engaging.

Knitster Ldn are a knitwear design consultancy and sampling studio in East London. Established in 2017, they needed a visual identity, website and social media strategy that would express their energy, passion and technical expertise for knitwear.

APPROACH

Modern Commodities had an existing word mark and presentation deck that was understated, clean and used Neue Haas Grotesk font - subtly highlighting their understanding of and authority within the creative industry. I expanded on this almost unbranded visual approach, to create an ordered, functional website that also represented Mod Co's ambiguous offering.

Within the 'Work' and 'About' sections, gif animations were used to hint at the calibre of Mod Co's clients, without giving away specific project details.
