THE BRIEF
Knitster Ldn are a knitwear design consultancy and sampling studio in East London. Established in 2017, they needed a brand identity, website and social media strategy that would express their passion and technical expertise for knitwear.
The thing that makes Knitster Ldn unique is the founders, Aysen & Emma. The combination of their commercial experience and technical expertise and their sense of humour and creative flair makes for an an energetic, playful and pro-active dynamic.
I expressed this using a direct but tounge-in-cheek tone-of voice, with open and direct typography. Fun details such as the yarn curser on the website and typographic knit-related puns on social express their playful side while their portfolio and cat-walk image posts shows off their impressive skill set and client list.
I worked with talented copywriter Chiara Merullo to create the tone-of-voice and Andrea Grasso, who built the site. The beautiful illustrations were created by Alex Mein, and the original stitches logo was created by Renee Ramraj.
