I offer one-to-one mentoring for young creative people from all backgrounds in East London.
I started mentoring when I became a volunteer Next Steps Mentor for The Princes Trust in 2016. I recieved full training and mentored 10 young people through the Trust, and three more in South Africa.
This experience has been a privilege and constant source of inspiration for me - every young person I've worked with has had something unique to offer, with their own individual strengths and talents.
I'd love to hear from you if you or someone you know might benefit from mentoring.
Mentoring is a relationship designed to build confidence and empower the mentee to take control of their own development. It can work in the context of a specific creative project or more generally to help the mentee find their path or next steps. Mentoring sessions take place on a regular basis over a period of 1-6 months, depending on the goals of the individual.
To make mentoring accessible to the people who would benefit from it the most, I charge for sessions on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis, ranging from £0-£70 per session.
